The evening
The evening took place at The Grand Tarabya in Istanbul under the theme “Access to International Capital Markets”, with the participation of Ayuna Nechaeva, Head of Europe at LSEG, and Chris McGahan. It brought together senior executives of listed companies, investment institutions, portfolio management companies and professionals from across the capital markets.
More than a networking evening, it was a strategic meeting focused on strengthening the access of Turkish companies to London and other international financial centres.
Four themes on the agenda
International Capital Markets Access
Access for Turkish companies to international capital markets, London first among them, and the international IPO and listing alternatives open to them.
Global Investor Connectivity
Reaching an international investor base, developing relationships with institutional investors and raising global visibility.
Debt & Equity Capital Markets
International debt instruments, capital markets solutions and alternatives for financing growth.
Istanbul – London Connection
Developing long-term collaboration between companies, investors and finance professionals in Istanbul and London’s capital markets.
With LSEG
We were pleased to welcome Ayuna Nechaeva, Head of Europe at LSEG, and Chris McGahan for an evening of discussions focused on the international growth ambitions of Turkish companies and the opportunities available across London’s capital markets.
Their participation made the evening a direct point of contact with international capital markets, not only a local networking meeting.
Why it matters
For companies that are scaling in Türkiye and pursuing international growth, access to global investors, international exchanges and a wider range of capital markets products matters more and more, rather than relying on local sources of finance alone.
Usul Ventures’ role is to connect these companies with the right international institutions, investors and capital markets infrastructure, and to take part in both the strategic and the execution side of that process.
At Usul Ventures, we continue to build long-term bridges between Türkiye and international financial centres. Through our relationships across London and other global markets, we aim to support Turkish companies in accessing international investors, capital markets and strategic opportunities.
